British Isles

There are several areas where our genetic Park/e/s families have been found in the British Isles

County Armagh, Northern Ireland

Aberdeenshire & Dumfriesshire, Scotland

Cumberland & Westmorland, Northern England

County Armagh
Northern Ireland

Family Group Sheets have been created for many of the Park/e/s families in County Armagh using birth/christening and marriage records as well as census information, mainly from 1901 & 1911. Combined with other sources, we hope these family group sheets will be a valuable tool to make contact with living descendants.

Scotland

DNA evidence has led us to explore these areas of Scotland for more evidence of genetically related Park families.

Possible locations for research are in Aberdeenshire and Dumfriesshire.

England

One Group 008 Park lineage going back to the early 1700s is associated with the areas around Kendal and Grange-Over-Sands in Westmorland.

Another DNA related Park family appears to have moved from Aberdeenshire, Scotland to the area around Carlisle, Cumberland in England.
